Daniela,
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like an interesting story that you will be able to get information on, but I hope that in your upcoming posts you can specify exactly what type of 'permits' these are for your reader. I personally am not sure what you're talking about when you say permits? Is this for people who are immigrating to Canada? I'm simply not sure. Can't wait to see more!
Daniela,
ReplyDeleteI think it's interesting to note that BC has the third highest value of residential permits over the past year but I'm not sure if it's strong enough or news worthy enough. Perhaps what could be more interesting is to look at what is causing an increase in residential building permit values in BC by 29% and a decrease in commercial permit values by 37%.
Daniela,
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a story that could could be of some interest to people looking to enter market. However, I am not entirely clear on what is meant by the "value of building permits." As result, everything in relation to the increase and decrease of the value of these permits (from province to province) just kind of goes over my head. It's clear that you have a trend in your data, I would just like to know what it is exactly.

At risk of repeating what has been said before, you need to find an agnle for this that speaks to your perspective readers. How does this affect them?
ReplyDeleteI think your idea is good. Just try to clean it up a bit, and make sure your lead has a strong direction.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot of info for a great story here. You might want to focus your lead a bit and save some of the info for the body of the piece. You also should try to find a person to interview as soon as possible. Good luck with your project!
